Alexander The Great

Alexander was the king of Macedon from 336 to 323 B.C. and conquered the Persian Empire. He worked to unite the greek city states and led the Corinthian league. He conquered Persia, Bactria, Syria, Phoenicia, Judea, Anatolia, Gaza, Egypt, and Mespoptamia in approximately 13 years. He gained 2,000,000 square miles of land and had 70 cities.
